Kat Usop [NYIT, ex-Duke] is a serial entrepreneur driving innovation at the intersection of technology and healthcare. With a strong foundation in industrial Research and Development (R&D) focused on Digital Healthcare Technologies, she spearheads the creation of AI-enabled, user-centric, and accessible healthcare solutions. Her expertise extends to leveraging mobile and wearable technologies, coupled with design thinking and gamification, to revolutionize healthcare delivery.Beyond her role as an Innovation Architect at Medverse Labs, she co-founded Techverse Coworking Space and GINA Health (Charlotte, NC), fostering collaborative environments and entrepreneurial ventures. As a seasonal instructor at the General Assembly (US), she shares her knowledge and passion for emerging technologies, while also actively exploring trends in digital transformation, globalization, and market dynamics, with a keen interest in the application of AI within the healthcare sector.Her academic contributions, reflected in publications on biomedical engineering, health informatics, and data science, further underscore her commitment to advancing the field.Notably, Kat Usop's expertise is also being shared through Algorythm Academy, an online learning platform that aims to equip individuals with the skills necessary to navigate the evolving landscape of data and AI. She is currently serving as the Healthcare AI advisor at The Medical City ( Network of 5 tertiary hospital + 75 clinics in ASEAN) – Medical Advisory Board and Healthcare Innovation Consultant at New York Institute of Technology (New York Tech)FYI.
