You can either choose to use the synced cover photo, upload an image from your desktop, or pick a GIF from Facebook’s library.

We must warn you: Adding attendees individually is simple… but time-consuming: You have to manually search for each individual and add them to your event page. Here’s how:
1. Click on the ‘Events’ tab on the left-hand side of your profile or page
2. Select ‘Hosting’ from the menu on the left-hand side
3. Under ‘Events You’re Hosting,’ you’ll see all your events
4. Share the event, select ‘Invite’
5. Search for attendees by name, email address, or phone number
6. Send the invitation to each attendee
The selected invitees then receive an invitation to join your event page. Once they’ve accepted the invitation, they’ll have access to your event page, where they can see all the event details and interact with any posts or photos you’ve shared.
They’ll also be able to create their own posts on the event page — so long as you’ve indicated in the ‘communication settings’ that invitees can share posts on your event page.
Is the setup process different for a virtual Facebook event?
When creating a virtual event, Facebook gives you two options: ‘virtual’ or ‘in person event.’ We’re happy to report that the process is the same for both, except that for virtual events, you’ll need to provide Facebook with a link or details on how you’ll live stream the event and select ‘virtual’ for the location.
