First up, Welcome to our friendly walking group!!
We know it can be daunting to join a new group. But, not to worry, we are all still new and know how it feels. So, we will make sure to welcome you into our group!
We meet every Sunday at 8.00 next to the coffee van next to the big playground at Yokine reserve (Follow signs to the coffee van on Woodsworth Ave). Plenty of parking is in front of the big playground, and we can have a coffee afterwards. The facilitators will wear a t-shirt with the smiley face logo as shown on the photo.
So that you know, you don't need to RSVP. Just come along!
For up-to-date info, please join us on Facebook Walk & Talk Yokine (https://www.facebook.com/groups/454861726741273). A community chat will allow you to message us if you are close and want us to wait. We will be leaving at 8.05 latest.
We will walk 1 round around Yokine reserve. We also have walkers that only do 1/2 a loop (with some physical limitations), so do not worry. We will try to accommodate your fitness level.
Prams, kids on bikes and well-behaved, friendly dogs are welcome!
