Using Kaleidoscope Pro to Build Classifiers for Birds & Land Animals

Kaleidoscope Pro can be used to build classifiers, which can be trained to identify and extract audible signals of interest from a target species. This feature provides a powerful tool for analysing the often large datasets collected during acoustic surveys. We will discuss the theory of how classifiers work and then put it into practice with actual audio files.

Note: This session assumes some prior knowledge of Kaleidoscope Pro and ecoacoustics.
