Welcome to the NVMS - Spring Meeting 2025 at Sanquin, Amsterdam!

Join us for a day filled with exciting discussions and networking opportunities at Sanquin in Amsterdam. The event will take place on Monday, May 26, 2025 starting at 10:00 AM local time.

Mark your calendars and get ready for a day of inspiration and collaboration at Sanuin, Amsterdam! Be aware that there is a limited seating capacity available at the venue, so secure your spot as soon as possible.

The Program Committee is excited to extend an invitation for you to present your most recent work, for which we can accommodate a limited number of submissions (please send your abstract to program@nvms.nl before April 7, 2025 and let us know if you prefer an oral or poster presentation). If we receive more abstracts than the capacity allows, the program committee will carefully make a final selection of the most exciting and innovative work.

Please be aware that on-site registration will not be possible this year.

You can find Sanquin on the following address: Plesmanlaan 125, 1066 CX Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

By Public Transport

From Amsterdam Central Station: Take tram 2 towards Sloten and get off at Johan Huizingalaan/Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital (approx. 30 minutes). Then, walk for a few minutes.

From Amsterdam Duivendrecht or Zuid/WTC: Take metro 50 towards Isolatorweg and get off at Heemstedestraat. From there, take tram 2 towards Sloten and get off at Johan Huizingalaan/Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital. Then, walk for a few minutes.

From Amsterdam Sloterdijk: Take metro 50 towards Gein and get off at Heemstedestraat (then follow the instructions above).

From Schiphol: Get off at Station Lelylaan. Take metro 50 towards Gein and get off at Heemstedestraat (this is just one stop) (then follow the instructions above).

By Car

Important Parking Notice

Due to the potentially large number of participants, parking on the Sanquin premises is not possible. However, there is a large parking garage nearby (NKI – Louwesweg 12, 1066 EC Amsterdam). Please note that it may be busy at times.

How to get there:

From Utrecht: Take the A2 towards Amsterdam, then A10 towards The Hague. Take exit S107 Sloten (see further instructions for exit Sloten/Slotervaart/Schinkel).

From Amersfoort: Take the A1 towards Amsterdam, then A10 towards The Hague. Take exit S107 Sloten (see further instructions for exit Sloten/Slotervaart/Schinkel).

From Purmerend: Take the A8 towards Amsterdam, then A10 towards The Hague/Utrecht. Take exit S107 Sloten (see further instructions for exit Sloten/Slotervaart/Schinkel).

From Exit S107 Sloten/Slotervaart/Schinkel:
On the overpass, head towards Sloten, Henk Sneevlietweg. At the T-junction with traffic lights, turn right onto Johan Huizingalaan. At the second traffic light on Johan Huizingalaan, turn left onto Plesmanlaan. Take the first entrance on the left, drive straight ahead, take the first exit at the roundabout, and continue to the parking garage entrance.

From The Hague: Take the A4 towards Amsterdam. Take exit 1 Sloten (see further instructions for exit 1 Sloten).

From Alkmaar/Haarlem: Take the A9 towards Utrecht/The Hague, then the A4 towards Amsterdam. Take exit 1 Sloten (see further instructions for exit 1 Sloten).

From Exit 1 Sloten:
At the end of the exit, turn right onto Oude Haagseweg. Follow the bend to the left, passing the Mercure Hotel and BP gas station. Go under the highway again to reach Johan Huizingalaan. At the fourth traffic light, turn left onto Plesmanlaan. Take the first entrance on the left, drive straight ahead, take the first exit at the roundabout, and continue to the parking garage entrance.
