Students for Health Humanities UTM proudly presents our second annual charity health humanities exhibition, Table for Five in reference to the recent finding from UofT that nearly one in five Ontario households is food insecure (PROOF, 2023). The exhibition will focus on the critical issue of food insecurity in our community. As a way to tangibly give back to our community with the use of art for activism and advocacy, we are using our exhibition as a fundraiser for The Compass Food Bank and Outreach Centre.
Table for Five is not just an art exhibition; it's a call to action. Join us as talented artists use their creativity to shed light on the issue of food insecurity. Each artwork tells a story, capturing the struggles, resilience, and hope of those facing hunger. Through the lens of art, we aim to provoke thought, inspire empathy, and ignite conversations about solutions.
Let's come together to turn Table for Five into a platform for change. Art has the power to inspire action, and your presence can make a difference.
