A note from the Artistic Director:

Hello music lovers,

I am delighted to finally share a preview of our 2024 Rosebud Chamber Music Festival. We have some thrilling events lined up and some brilliant new artists to introduce to the RCMF family.

Joining us this summer is Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra concertmaster, Diana Cohen. Diana is a sensational performer and also directs Canada’s newest festival, Chamberfestwest in Calgary.

Also on violin is Saskatchewanian, Amy Hillis. Amy brings an incandescent stage presence and phenomenal musicianship to the team.

We are so glad to have pianist, Todd Yaniw joining the company. A recently returned Albertan, Todd brings a deep artistry and and vast chamber music experience to his performances. Welcome, Todd!

On cello, festival-favourite, Julie Hereish returns to join this exciting team.

You will hear more about our full concert program soon but you can already look forward to hearing the ravishing piano quintet of César Franck. For now, enjoy getting to know a bit about these special artists. We can’t wait to share this spectacular music with you.

Sincerely,

Keith Hamm | Violist & Artistic Director
