Join us for a QiGong practice, followed by Sound Healing to rest & receive.
QiGong is a mindful movement practice that cultivates more energy, less stress and tension, brilliant sleep and overall body-mind wellness. This ancient practice offers an antidote to our often fast-paced and stressful modern lifestyles. It allows us to slow down, reconnect, and activate our body-mind's innate healing response.
Qi (~chee) means life force energy; Gong means skill. QiGong can be translated as "a skillful way to work with our internal life force energy". The practice is known for its flowing movements, gentle stretches, breath awareness and acupressure activations.
Anika from Ocean&Moon teaches this Eastern healing art in an accessible way for our Western minds and bodies. No experience is required!
Please bring your water bottle and a yoga mat (if you have one). For our QiGong practice, we'll be standing. You can be barefoot on the mat or wear comfortable shoes. During the sound healing, we'll be lying down on the mat. Bolsters and blankets will be provided.

Your host, Anika from Ocean&Moon, also offers individual healing sessions that combine therapeutic bodywork & sound healing. Monthly group soundbath are also available. Her studio is located in Port Moody, Newport Village.
