Psychosocial Risk Management Program (General Industry) - 3 days from 23-25 July 2024.


Event Location: Liberty Offices, Level 1/53 Burswood Rd, Burswood. Please note access to Level 1 is via stairs only.

As proud recipients of a DEMIRS Mentally Healthy Workplace Grant, our popular and award-winning program has been successfully delivered to the WA mining industry since 2022 under FIFO Focus, our resources industry arm. From 2024, this program will be available for general industry participants.


At the end of this program, participants will:

  • Increase knowledge of psychosocial hazards & impacts in the workplace
  • Develop awareness of tools & processes to proactively identify & assess psychosocial hazards
  • Understand the importance of consultation in creating mentally healthy workplaces
  • Understand how to identify psychosocial hazards and conduct risk assessments in the workplace
  • Understand how to develop evidence-based, effective and sustainable solutions to mitigate psychosocial hazards and risks in their workplace.
  • Develop informal networks & support through cohorts across industries face-to-face

This 3 day (face-to-face) program is designed to:

  • Upskill key team members to assist you in meeting your legislative obligations
  • Equip participants to create mentally healthy workplaces through the identification, assessment and mitigation of psychosocial hazards and risks in a systematic and sustainable way.

Who should attend?

In-house representatives only who are responsible for, or involved in, identifying, assessing & mitigating psychosocial risk, including:

  • Operational leaders, including Frontline Supervisors, who are committed to building mentally healthy workplaces
  • Health & Safety leaders, professionals & practitioners
  • Human Resources &/or People & Culture leaders, practitioners & professionals

Please note: participants must attend all 3 days. Coffee, morning tea and lunch are provided each day.

Note: This course is for non-mining, in-house Leaders, Health and Safety, and HR (or associated) roles only. Applications from consultants will not be accepted.
