Pharmaverse is a set of packages that enables the effective handling of data, while providing excellent support for TLFs. Pharmaverse is a set of packages for late stage clinical work that provides a user-friendly packages for working with data and making tables. This Introduction to the Pharmaverse practical workshop will address questions regarding the content of the resource and provide practical exercises to practice your newly developed R pharma skills.
Learning Objectives
Pharmaverse syntax: Understanding the different ‘parts of speech’ in the packages; introducing variables and functions, demonstrating how functions work, and modifying arguments for specific use cases.
Data structures in R with Admiral: Getting a handle on the classes of data structures and the types of data used by R.
Data inspection and wrangling: Reading in data from files. Using indices and various functions to subset, merge, and create datasets.
Exporting data: Generating new data tables for use outside of the R environment and for submissions.
Visualizing data: Demonstrate the use of the ggplot2 package to create plots for easy data visualization and gt and other packages.

Ari Siggaard Knoph (MSc) is a Principal Statistical Programmer and International Lead Programmer at Novo Nordisk with a seat on the pharmaverse council. He is a driving force behind the adoption of R in clinical deliverables and submissions at Novo Nordisk. Ari is also the author and maintainer of multiple R packages and leads the Novo Nordisk pharmaverse team.
