There's nothing like waking up with the sun!
There's a reason paddlers love early morning outings. The sunrise is good for the soul, and water conditions are usually calmer and more favourable. Plus, once we get off the water you've still got the whole day to do whatever you want!
Join us for this 90-minute dragon boat outing. This excursion is suitable for all levels. We'll take plenty of breaks for water, snacks, and pictures. You'll also have the option of switching sides halfway through.
No experience is required. We provide all the equipment (life jackets and paddles).
We'll provide you with a positive space, an experienced coach/steersperson. All you have to do is wake up and get ready for a breathtaking experience.
We will launch from the Port Perry waterfront and paddle north toward Seagrave.
Here at the Scugog Dragon Boat Club we love all humans, and welcome people of all skills and abilities on our boat. Participants of all ages may attend, but kiddos under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.

Please note:
We paddle rain or shine! We will only cancel in the event of lightning. Weather cancellations will be sent out by 9pm the night before.
You will receive a briefing email a few days before the excursion with information on where we meet, what to wear, what to bring, etc.
We require a minimum of 12 paddlers for this session. If fewer than 12 people are registered by noon on the day before the session, we will send out a cancellation notice.
In the event of a cancellation, refunds will be issued.
