Monash Sandringham Childbirthed: Newborns & Parenting. Sat August 3, 2024

Monash Health offers a comprehensive afternoon childbirth education session for first time parents birthing at Sandringham hospital.

The program is conducted face to face at the hospital, on Saturday 1.30-5pm. This session will be facilitated by a midwife educator,offering the opportunity for asking questions and discussions.

T he program aims to cover topics such as:

• Newborns' communication and adaption after birth
• Initiating breastfeeding
• Becoming a new parent
• Safety at home

We recommend you look as soon as possible and select and pay for a program that commences when you are around 28-32 weeks pregnant. Please complete the booking using the birthing woman's name. You and your partner are encouraged to attend. Cost $ 75.00

One ticket is for two people. We encourage your partner, support person or a family member may to accompany you (only one)

The session runs from 1.30 -5pm and will be held at Sandringham Hospital Clinic C - enter from Edward Street.

You are welcome to bring drink and snacks.
