Luminous LUNA Sound Bath

🌕 Welcome to the Luminous Luna Sound Bath at YogaMcc Bowness on June 21 (the solstice full moon) from 7-9pm! 🌕

The June strawberry full moon marks the start of a vibrant summer season and signifies growth and fruitful abundance

Join us for a restorative solstice celebration (and regulate your nervous system!) by immersing yourself in the soothing tones of nine quartz crystal singing bowls and other magical instruments. Let the vibrations lift away any tension, leaving you feeling rested and rejuvenated. This in-person sound bath is the perfect opportunity to completely let go, allowing the full moon energy connect you with your inner self and energize your soul. Combined with a guided meditation, Karla from ThetaCircle brings you along a journey of self-reflection, profound relaxation, and offers a sacred space for you to honor your practice and self-care.

Please arrive at 7pm to get settled in and the experience will begin shortly thereafter. Bring your favourite yoga mat and/or pillow. Blosters, yoga blankets, and other yoga props will be provided. Parking is in front of the building. See more notes in the disclaimer.

✨️What is a Sound Bath?✨️

A sound bath is a type of meditative experience where you will sit or lay down on a yoga mat with props, blankets, and/or pillows. Those who are in attendance will be “bathed” or immersed in sound waves by various instruments.

Benefits of a sound bath may be:

- Enhanced sense of peace, calm, and relaxation
- Improved moods
- Better body and mind awareness
- Aids nervous system regulation
- Safe space for introspection
- Reduced pain, tension, anxiety, or stress

Karla is a certified meditation/sound facilitator and reiki master, and has obtained her MHFA with over 300+ hours of training and countless hours of dedicated practice. She has trained under various psychologists, yoga therapists, Buddhist monks, reiki masters, mindfulness teachers, musicians, peers, and so many more. She considers herself a life long student in the realm of meditation, mindfulness, and self-development.

During the day, Karla is a tech marketing lead and has hosted corporate wellness programs and meditations for over +350 attendees virtually. She also partners and co-facilitates retreats and events around Calgary, AB with other incredible wellness facilitators. Karla has a deep and profound longing to help people discover themselves through meditation, just like she did in 2020 - the year that ignited the light and passion within her.
