Come laugh, unwind, and recharge in the company of these amazing, sentient creatures. No riding of horses involved and no horse experience necessary – just an open heart and a willingness to connect.

Through the use of equine assisted learning you will be guided through exercises that will allow you to explore your communication, problem solving, and ability to be present in the moment. All activities take place on the ground with our safe and friendly horses. You will be invited to enjoy a relaxing guided meditation, and offered an opportunity to take away some personal reflections.
This event is hosted by Stable Works, an equine assisted learning company that specializes in team building, special events, school groups, and personal development. Stable Works owner, Laura Boyko, is a certified equine facilitator through Dreamwinds Equine Learning, holds a Master in Education-Leadership, has taught for over 20 years in college/university classes, and has led over a dozen teams in her career.
Laura always has additional trained co-facilitators at each event to assist participants with any questions or concerns you may have.

Frequently asked questions
Given the time of year, you should dress according to the weather. We are going to be outdoors, but inside an arena, away from the wind/rain/snow. We suggest dressing in warm layers (shirt/sweatshirt/jacket), and according to the weather the day of your event. Please wear boots or running shoes.
No. We will be doing all activities on the ground with the horses. No riding is involved. No riding experience is required.
No problem! We work with only the most gentle and friendly of horses from our herd. A safety demonstration is provided before any activities, and our certified facilitators are with you throughout the event. You can choose to participate, or be as close or as far from the horse as you want.
This event takes place at a working equestrian centre. The activities take place on a sand-based ground cover, which would be difficult for mobility aids to navigate. Should you have accessibility needs, please let us know and we will be happy to ensure an accommodated experience for you!
