This weekly resistance training & fitness class is free for Métis in the Kelowna area to participate in. Community members of all ages and levels of fitness are welcome!

Classes are hosted by our Métis community member Jordan Boultbee, who has a degree in Human Kinetics and 4 years of experience as a fitness instructor and personal trainer.

The main training focuses of this class are strength training, hypertrophy, mobility, and cardiorespiratory fitness. Participants will engage in strength training, corrective exercise, and dynamic movement patterns. The exercises taught in this class can be practiced outside of class in any gym setting.

The exercises taught in this class are evidence-based, meaning that they have been proven to have specific effects on aspects of physical fitness when practiced regularly. Jordan is knowledgeable about all of the exercises that this class will go through, and can explain how they work and their long-term effects on the body.
