Welcome to The Kitchener Academy of Music's Key Changes Program!

At our academy, we believe in nurturing the individual strengths of each student while challenging them to reach new heights of creativity and expression.

🔑 What is Key Changes?

  • Weekly group art education classes starting from Sep. 10th to Nov. 26th
  • For homeschoolers in grades 1 through 6
  • Led by experienced music teacher, Lizzy, with a diverse background in fine arts
  • Every Tuesday 11am to 2pm

Our program is not your typical classroom experience. We focus on building essential life skills through exploration and hands-on learning, rather than simply memorizing facts and figures. Our group arts classes meet weekly, providing a supportive environment where students can collaborate, learn from one another, and grow together.

If you're a parent or guardian of a homeschooler in grades 1 through 6 and you're seeking a program that goes beyond traditional grading and evaluation, you've come to the right place. Our approach is centered around skill-building and personal growth, with a focus on developing well-rounded individuals who are equipped to thrive in any environment.

🌟 What Sets Us Apart?

Holistic Evaluation: We assess your child's progress based on the skills they develop, not just their ability to regurgitate information. From self-reflection to problem-solving, our goal is to equip students with the tools they need to succeed in all areas of life.

Mind Fitness: Just as we work out our bodies to stay physically fit, we believe in exercising the mind to promote mental fitness and well-being. Through engaging subjects like visual arts, music, creative writing, and drama, we challenge students to think critically, express themselves confidently, and embrace their unique perspectives.

Diverse Curriculum: Our program covers a wide range of topics and subjects. There's something for everyone to explore and enjoy.

Life Skills Development: Beyond academic knowledge, our program focuses on essential life skills such as collaboration, communication, emotional regulation, and decision-making.

Personal Growth: Through self-reflection, teamwork, and creative expression, students develop confidence, resilience, and a growth mindset. Our goal is to inspire them to push beyond their comfort zones and discover their full potential.

🎨🎶 What Types of Art Can Your Child Learn?
