About this event

The fifth annual Jointly Convened Annual Meeting (JCAM) will take place in person from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM on May 9, 2024 at the Coast Coal Harbour Vancouver Hotel. The purpose of this annual meeting of Superintendents and Chairs of Indigenous Education Councils is to share information and contribute to reconciliation between school districts and First Nations as referenced in Schedule H, 2.6 of the Tripartite Education Agreement (BCTEA).

Date: Thursday, May 9, 2024, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm

Location: Coal Harbour Ballroom – Coast Coal Harbour, 1180 Hastings St W, Vancouver BC V6E 4R5


  • Includes breakfast and lunch, as well as coffee and refreshments during the day
  • The ministry has set aside a block of rooms starting at $299/night
  • Hotel rooms will be held until April 15, 2024.
