No, this is a free community event, accessible with a ticket via this event page. The Informed and Empowered Workshop series has been made possible by a NSW Government Grant from the Department of Communities and Justice, as part of the Disability Advocacy Futures Program

Who should attend this workshop?

The content delivered by workshop presenters is focused on educating and empowering people with lived experience of disability about their rights and options. Informal and formal supports, as well as service providers who are keen to learn and pass on new information, are also welcome!

Is the content delivered in the workshops complex?

Some content in the Informed and Empowered Workshop Series is detailed and may be experienced as complex. If you think that it will help you to bring along a support person to better understand the content, please book them a ticket also- we would love to welcome them along too.

No- this workshop focuses on adult topics and is not suitable for children to attend
