This workshop will be in person at the Multicultural Hub at 506 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne from 10am to 1pm.

The workshop is for health, support and community workers who wish to learn the basics about hepatitis B and effective strategies for working with affected communities.

This training module has been developed by a partnership with St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and the Multicultural Health and Support Service at the Centre for Culture, Ethnicity & Health.

This Hep B made easy workshop will help you:

  • understand the basic facts about hepatitis B testing, diagnosis, transmission & treatment
  • explore strategies that meet the needs of affected communities
  • gain knowledge on how to deliver appropriate health literate and culturally competent care to people affected by hepatitis B
  • learn about resources, supports and websites that assist health workers and the affected communities to seek help.

This workshop will be conducted in person in line with current Covid 19 safe guidelines.

This course is worth three CPD points.
