Join us for a transformative and rejuvenating experience at our Mindful Nature Adventures.

Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of nature while reconnecting with your inner self. Each month we meet in person Secret Location (Changes Monthly) near Gold Coast QLD, Australia.

During this session, you'll have the opportunity to engage in grounding activities such as walking meditation, mindful breathing and inner child play. Through these practices, you'll learn to cultivate a deep connection with nature and yourself, fostering a sense of calm and clarity.

Grounded Beings events are fixed in our three principles of Connection, Protection, and Fun!
💙Connection: Disconnect to reconnect. What does this mean? Our day-to-day lives are increasingly online, which has both positive and negative impacts on our lives. At Grounded Beings, we provide an opportunity to disconnect from the online space, completely, for 2 hours so that you can reconnect with yourself and your present-moment surroundings. Being in a natural green space and barefoot, the act called grounding has tremendous benefits to physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual health. Learn more HERE. We share the experience and connection with a small group of up to 11 like-minded people.
💙Protection: Mother Nature gives us all we need, water, food, sunlight, air, and healing. It is a tremendous gift that we have the responsibility for and the best we can do is firstly take responsibility for our actions. Grounded Being events are therefore advocates for carpooling, reusable water bottles, food containers and cutlery, plant-based eating and litter collection. At all of our events, we have no single-use plastics, meat or chemical-based body products. If there is litter at our site we will collect it and as best we can we connect you to carpool and encourage offsetting your trip with GreenFleet.

💗Your Facilitator: Veida from Vei of Sunshine, is an experienced & passionate environmental educator, reiki practitioner, kundalini yoga instructor and plant-based foodie. Veida has experienced first-hand the healing connection nature has on all levels and is driven to share her love for Mother Nature.

Where will the event be held?

The location will be released via email the week prior, based on weather conditions. We aim to never be further than a 1-hour drive away from central Gold Coast. Car pooling options are encouraged- Please join our WhatsApp group to share or find a lift!

I don't have a car, can I still get there?

YES! We encourage carpooling as much as possible. Please join the WhatsApp group linked above or contact Veida at 0429 077 805 and she will aim to provide a way for you to attend.

Can children come to the event?

Yes! This would be encouraged. Please keep in mind we do spend the first hour in silence/ meditation. Consider how appropriate this may be for your child and if they can stick to that as best they can. Children will still count towards total numbers so please order another ticket for each child.

Do I really need to keep my phone in the car/off?

YES! This is a special time to spend some time off your phone in nature. Disconnect to reconnect as we like to say. It is only 2 hours of your day and you will be sure to feel the benefits of leaving the online world to be completely present

Why do I need to buy a ticket if this a free event?

These spaces are kept to a small group size of 11 to provide high-quality of tranquillity and space. We also only release the event location to those who have registered. Please book well ahead of time so that we can arrange location and carpooling! Any donations are warmly appreciated.

Is the location wheelchair accessable?

We endeavour to choose locations that are as accessible as possible. If you are planning to come and have accessibility requirements please contact the host Veida, and we will be happy to accommodate. We would rather change the location for you to be able to join than to miss out

Do I really need to be barefoot the whole time?

YES! This is one of our key principles based on the benefits of grounding. This may be challenging, but working through this barrier will have huge benefits for your mind and body. The whole group will be together on this journey!

Why no meat at these events?

One of Grounded Beings principles is sustainability. The production and consumption of meat and dairy have large environmental impacts and reducing intake is one of the best ways individuals reduce their carbon footprint. We are allowing you and opportunity to try it just for these events!
