Led by Breathwork Therapist and Yin Yoga Teacher, Aimee Robinson-Davey, this circle provides a safe space to honor and to tend to our grief. A space where all grief is welcome.
Grief comes knocking on our door constantly throughout our life - through losses of loved ones, ends of relationships (romantic and friendships), significant life changes, relocation of country, grieving for our younger selves - parts of us we never had the chance to tend to in their moment. Grief is a universal emotion that shows up in a magnitude of ways and in a grief-phobic society - this is a space where we come together in community to have our grief held, seen and witnessed - in community. This circle is a reminder to us all - we were never meant to go through grief alone.
Aimee will guide you through gentle Yin + Breathwork, to explore how our emotions may reside in the body and create space for them, to be felt, to be expressed, to move.
Please bring with you:
- Pen
- Journal
- Water bottle
- If possible - please bring something with you that connects you to your grief. This can be an image of a loved one, a representation of your younger self, a time in your life or perhaps it's an item that feels significant - to bring into our circle.
Please note that sharing in circle is always optional - you may wish to simply sit and listen - everyone and anyone is welcome and most importantly - all grief is welcome.
