Girls Try Golf Free Event; Join the Girls Golf League Kawartha for an afternoon of golf. Girls will have the opporunity to try chipping, putting, and driving lead by our Canadian Golf Professional. No experience or clubs needed. Brought to you by various sponsors this is a one hour free session. Space is limited - please register for ONE time slot. Yes, as sometimes playing with boys can be intimidating, this is meant to be an environment where girls can just be girls.
This event is free, covered by our generous sponsors. We have a few options that are pay or free moving forward should you like it.
So glad you asked! Golf courses donate the time. Volunteers run it all. No one is paid except for our professionals when running lesson. If you are interested we range from as low as $250 all the way up to $1 million. Every little bit helps make it a more fun season for the girls.
We will be working on the various skills; driving, chipping, putting and rules during the one hour. We won't be out playing. However we do have a free league Wednesday's where we do go out and play a small par three at The Quarry - who has generously donated the course to us for one hour.
