Flora's Walk - Team Vaughan

Join us for a fun and informative morning at Mackenzie Glen District Park in Maple, ON, as we walk to increase awareness of perinatal mental health and share Flora's story. There will be refreshments, a proclamation by the Mayor, as well as an opportunity to connect with others in the community. Feel free to also come early/stay later to let kids enjoy the wonderful park! Let's come together to support this important cause - it's going to be a day of connection, love, and community spirit. Don't miss out on this opportunity to make a difference and enjoy the great outdoors. See you there!

Frequently asked questions

Will parking be available on site?

Yes, there is a parking lot available as soon as you enter the park from Cranston Park Ave. If the parking lot is full, feel free to use available street parking nearby.

Will bathrooms be available on site?

Unfortunately the park bathrooms are NOT open yet for the season, so please ensure that the kiddies (and you!) use the bathroom before arriving :)

What is the level of difficulty for the walk?

The path for the walk is paved and there is no inclination, so it is a fairly easy walk.

Who can attend the walk?

Everyone is welcome!

Can we use the playground at the park?

You are more than welcome to use the playground before/after the event, but we would really appreciate it if you could try to stay close by during our actual event time (10-12).

How do the raffle prizes work?

Raffle tickets will be available to purchase on site (you can pay with cash or donate online), and we will announce the winners after our walk.
