Finding Our Way: Family Experiences in Mental Health Recovery

Join us for an insightful session at Toronto Public Library – North York Central Branch on Wed May 29th, 6:30-8 pm with Stuart Clarfield. This program will take place in Room 101, on the main floor.

Discover how family lived experiences can empower recovery through text, video, and web family support resources. Stuart Clarfield, a family member and documentary producer from The Mission Media Company, will showcase various projects mobilizing the power of lived experiences to aid families.

Explore 'The Journey Home,' a documentary and 'Finding Our Way,' a book, both available in the Toronto Public Library system, capturing the journey of family members and support practitioners in mental health recovery. Discover insights from 'The Family Caregiving Project,' a University of Toronto initiative supporting families and educating healthcare providers.

Learn from video clips and discussions how these projects were developed and how families, students, and practitioners can benefit from invaluable family insights.

Join us for an enlightening evening and engage in a Q&A session afterward. Don't miss out on this opportunity to access these resources freely available at the Toronto Public Library or online at familyguidetomentalhealth.com
