DIY Night - every Tuesday & Saturday 6:30-9:30pm (no e-bikes)
This evening is for people to work on their bikes while being supported by fellow community members who are trained in mechanics. Two staff members and volunteers* are available to answer questions, help you purchase new or used parts, and provide hands-off guidance to repairs. Our stand rentals give you a community environment where the floor doesn't mind a bit of grease and the tools and parts are all ready and accessible.
$20/hour prorated stand rental includes:
- Bike Assessment from our mechanic
- Personal bicycle stand, bench and tool access
- Access to truing stands, consumables, and specialty tools upon request
Attendees must agree and sign the DIY Stands Terms of Use in-person. The on-site mechanic will assess your bike with you, then help you make a plan using the Tool and Stand Rental Sign In Sheet.
Stands full? Research while you wait! Grab a chair and chat bikes with some new friends. Bike repair manuals and laptops are available.
