We are pleased to announce an upcoming special performance at the Huron County Museum in Goderich. 'Workshopping the DIVA Show' will feature former Goderich residents Jenna Smith on vocals and Bryan Pickell on piano. The event is scheduled for Thursday, May 11th, and will begin at 7:30 p.m. The DIVA Show features hit songs by some of the best-known pop divas across the decades and fans of the T.V. show 'The Voice' will especially enjoy this.
Jenna Smith is an accomplished vocalist who has captivated audiences with her dynamic and engaging performances. She will be singing favourites from Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, Adele, Alicia Keys, and others. Jenna has received coaching from Dr. William Riley, Celine Dion's vocal coach, who has worked with some of the greats like Whitney Houston during 'The Bodyguard' years. In addition to her musical accomplishments, Jenna is also a therapist and high-performance coach, and her upcoming book, "It's Not Your Fault, and Nothing's Wrong with You," will be available for pre-order at the show.
Bryan Pickell is a renowned pianist and composer with over 20 years of experience writing and performing original music. Bryan got his start performing music at the age of 12 at Bailey’s in Goderich, playing dinner music every Saturday and Sunday on The Square. In recent months,Bryan has released 2 meditation albums, a full-length ambient electronic album, an album to help reduce anxiety and increase focus, and 8 full-length music videos. Bryan is also preparing to release a photographic art series featuring 20 pieces showcasing the magic of Algonquin Park.
The event promises to be a memorable evening of music, and we encourage everyone to support these talented home-grown performers. Tickets are available for $15 each or 2 for $20, and can be purchased online or at the door if still available.
