DesktopOne Transition Sessions (Cairns-based staff) 8am session

You are booking in for a DesktopOne Transition Session to update your current device with the DesktopOne platform at the Cairns Regional Office.

Please note: If you are a staff member in an operational role, we are currently working on transferring your software applications to DesktopOne. We'll be ready to transition you to DesktopOne in 2024, and we thank you for your patience.

Make sure you check if you are ready to transition on the Am I Ready Page before booking into a session.

How long will it take?

You will need to come into the office on the day of your booking between 8am and 10am.

· The DesktopOne Program Team will swap your Windows10 device over with a prepared DesktopOne Windows11 device.

· You will be provided with a hard copy of the DesktopOne Login Guide and stepped through the process to login in.

Once you have logged into your DesktopOne device the DesktopOne Program Team will be available onsite and online to assist you with any issues or questions you have during the process.

** Please allow between 2-3 hours to download your software applications in the Company Portal. We recommend you prioritise your downloads and do this over the network so that it is completed in the most efficient time and that you keep your calendar free from meetings or site work until your software application have been install

You will need to come to Building 114 Catalina Crescent, Cairns Airport - Yirrganydji Room

Please bring with you your current device, and your mobile device that you have set up your Multi-Factor Authenticator (MFA) on.
