About this event

Welcome to the Coastal Climate Connections Event!

Date: Thursday, April 25th 2024

Location: Esquimalt Gorge Park & Pavilion

Join us for our 1st annual, year-end networking and social event for the Coastal Climate Solutions Leaders (CCSL) Graduate Training Program. Coastal Climate Connections will showcase the 2023-24 cohort’s designs for a climate-smart neighborhood adjacent to UVic campus. There will be lots of opportunity to network with students and post-doctoral researchers in the program, as well as with UVic faculty and local leaders from government, industry, and non-profits. Come celebrate with us and be part of the growing climate solutions community in Victoria.

This event is sponsored by the Natural Sciences Engineering Research Council (NSERC), the University of Victoria and proudly co-sponsored by two local craft artisans, Driftwood Brewery & Victoria Cider Co.

Refreshments and food will be served. All registered attendees will receive (1) complimentary drink ticket, with wine, beer, and cider available for purchase thereafter.
