Venue

Gibsons Farm is a family and friend run working farm devoted to ecosystems and sustainable food production. They believe in multigenerational, community based education.

The farm is idyllic in spring and summer - there’s an apple orchard, circle of willow trees, a small stream running through the land where ducks swim. They raise goats, chickens and ducks and grow produce to sell at the market. It is a truly magical place, and we are extremely lucky to be spending a weekend there.

Transportation

No car? No problem!

To relive the full camp experience, transport will be arranged for all campers at Langdale Ferry Terminal on Friday at 5:25. Just walk on at Horseshoe Bay Terminal free of ferry reservation stress. A return ride will drop you back off at the Langdale Ferry terminal on Sunday.

But I need my car!

Limited parking is available on site - please contact us to confirm availability and you must arrive at Gibsons farm by 5:45pm. Note: drivers are responsible for their own ferry booking.

Cyclists

If you plan to cycle to the farm, please let us know. The school bus is not equipped to take bikes so cyclists will have to ride to Gibsons Farm.

Accommodation

Each camper will be assigned a yurt with up to 5 other campers. A single mattress is provided but please bring your own bedding. This can be in the form of sheets or a sleeping bag.

To encourage making new friends, you may request to bunk with a maximum of one other friend.

Community

Living in Vancouver we know how hard making new “grown-up” friends can be. Our camp is curated with activities designed to create an unique and unforgettable experience whether you're coming solo or with friends.

The fine print:
