The school is designed to be particularly beneficial to graduate students and researchers with a high level of proficiency in applied policy evaluation and quantitative micro-econometrics. It will run over three consecutive days, from January 22 to January 24, 2024, covering longitudinal data methods for the estimation of policy effects. Different solutions to the identification problem will be considered, resulting in theoretical and training sessions. Discussion sessions with instructors will be organized with the possibility for students to present their research in poster sessions. Finally, the winner of the second edition of the Best Paper in Public Policy Evaluation will present his/her paper.
The training sessions will illustrate the basic implementation in Stata of a selection of approaches discussed in the theoretical sessions; a temporary Stata license will be released on demand. It is recommended that you bring your own laptop to follow the training sessions.
