As CEO, Mette Kaagaard is primarily responsible for leading Microsoft's commercial activities in Denmark. She is also an active voice in public debates, where she focuses on topics such as digitalization, cybersecurity, and diversity.

Mette Kaagaard has over 20 years of experience in management, digitalization, business transformation, and technology, and she has previously been a partner and head of Deloitte's Danish Risk Advisory department. Before this, Mette Kaagaard worked with software, platforms, and IT infrastructure, where she held positions as Executive Vice President at KMD, Managing Director at Conscia, and DIO at Egmont.

Mette Kaagaard holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Organization and IT) from Copenhagen Business School.
