Befriending Your Inner Critic
Date: Wednesday 19 June
Time: 4.30pm-6pm
Location: level 1/60 Martin Pl
We all talk to ourselves. It is HOW we talk that matters. Let's work on the how together.
Just like a handbrake in a car is meant to ensure safety, but can make driving hard if stays in the 'ON' position, our protective assumptions can sometimes hinder our progress.
In this engaging workshop facilitated by Anton Zemlyanoy, a leadership coach with a master's in psychology, you will uncover how these outdated beliefs can create internal barriers to success.
Join us for 1.5 hours to update and reframe these assumptions and navigate towards your goals smoothly and more effectively.
What will be covered:
- Learn where negative self-talk comes from and its protective purpose
- Take Response-Ability: understand that you always have a choice
- Get to work: start updating these assumptions to better suit your chosen goal
- Collaborate: work with others to tap into new perspectives
Participants are saying:
Anton's interactive workshop was very helpful to reflect on my own inner critics. The hands-on worksheet and one-on-one discussions with peers helped me to unwrap some hidden thoughts and feelings and provided good guidance on how to deal with them in the future.
