Explore collecting bat reference calls with Wildlife Acoustics’ Echo Meter Touch 2 (EMT 2) active bat detector. We will touch on the importance of bat reference call collection and the different methodologies you can use to collect them.
Learn the basics of collecting bat reference calls in the field, including how to use the EMT 2 to record and download/share bat calls. We will also help you determine which model EMT 2 is right for you (there are two!). This workshop will also be helpful for anyone considering using the EMT 2 for transect or active point acoustic bat surveys.
