Join us for a Banff to Johnston Canyon ride!
Get ready for a scenic adventure from The Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre to Johnston Canyon along pathways and highway 1A (closed to vehicle traffic). This is an out and back route approximately 50 km with a few short but significant climbs. Stop at Johnston Canyon for a snack and/or take the short walk up and see the lower falls. Meet between 9:30-9:45 in Fenlands Banff Recreation Center parking lot. Plan to have your butt on your bike and ready to ride at 10:00 am! The group will gather near the entrance/exit to the parking lot. Family friendly. Ride co-leaders are Eric Metzler and Linda Brunet.
Option to ride further to Castle Mtn Junction (this will add 14 km to the trip) or to Lake Louise Village (this will add 66 km to the trip).
