Annual Meeting of The Danish Electrochemical Society 2019, 31 october-1 November

Venue: Comwell Klarskovgaard, Korsør Lystskov 30, 4220 Korsør.

Date and Time: 31-10-2019, 13:00 to 01-11-2019, 16:00.

Abstract Deadline: 1st of September (for abstract submission details see http://www.electrochemistry.dk/).

Registration and Conference Fee: Registration and payment takes place by purchasing a ticket for the event. Remember to check if your organisation/company has a group membership before you register. The registration deadline is the 15th of October. The conference fee includes dinner on the 31st of October, accommodation for one night in a single room and lunch on the 1st of November at the conference venue. The Event:

The Danish Electrochemical Society (DEF) is organising an annual two-day conference on Electrochemical Science and Technology. The society welcomes both academic and industrial researchers/-professionals at all career stages to present their electrochemistry-related work. Presentations for the conference may be based either on completed research projects or on ongoing research. There will be prizes for the best oral and poster presentations given by students and postdocs.

Invited Speakers: This year's conference has four invited talks in line with the theme “Electrochemistry for sustainability”. The speakers and titles are:

  • Prof. Beatriz Roldán Cuenya, Fritz Haber Institute, Germany “Operando investigation of structure, composition, and reactivity correlations during CO2 electroreduction”

  • Prof. Ib Chorkendorff, DTU Physics, Denmark “Electro-catalysis for conversion of sustainable energy”

  • Dr. Ifan E. L. Stephens, Imperial College, United Kingdom “Electrosynthesis to enable the green production of our most coveted chemicals”

  • Prof. Tejs Vegge, DTU Energy, Denmark “Accelerated discovery and design of next-generation battery materials”
