Bio:
Andrew Rodgers is a singer-songwriter based in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Andrew is also a founding member of the band, Fairgale. Fairgale has shared the stage with musical luminaries including: Arkells, Lights, Melissa Etheridge, Blue Rodeo, Sloan, and Fairgale has even performed with Trooper & Bryan Adams during a rendition of Trooper’s classic hit, “We’re Here For a Good Time (Not a Long Time)”, at the 2018 George Street Festival. The band is looking forward to The Sommo Festival in PEI on September 14, 2024 where they will open a show headlined by Greta Van Fleet.In 2023, Fairgale took home MusicNL’s Rock Artist of the Year and the group’s latest album, “The Way It Was Before”, was nominated for Rock Recording of the Year at the 2024 ECMAs held in PEI.
Andrew has recently announced his first solo tour of the East Coast through the Spring, Summer, and Fall of 2024. To date, Andrew has released two singles: “Last Man Standing” and “Downtown”, which have streamed over 45,000 times and counting. A double release is set for May 17th, featuring “Saturday Night” & “The Closest Thing” with a full length album coming in July of 2024!
