Girl Guides Tasmania owns Orana Camp, which has been operational since 1967. It is approximately 20 kilometres from Hobart city centre on the Eastern Shore and 10 minutes from the airport. It is established on 31 acres of natural bushland with plentiful birdlife and native fauna. The property is on beautiful Roches Beach, with direct access to the sheltered beach frontage. Access is wheelchair friendly. A Volunteer Caretaker lives on the property and can assist in emergencies.

A fitness course, challenge valley (large play equipment), cricket pitch, outdoor gym equipment and a playground are all located on the site. There is a safe beach for water activities.

Malunna Camp House

This large brick building consists of a commercial kitchen, a large dining room with a wood heater, a carpeted conference room with electric heating, amenities, and a disabled bathroom. It can comfortably sleep 63 people in bunk rooms.

Malunna House is equipped with cooking, eating and seating facilities. There is a commercial refrigerator, small freezer, 6-burner dual-fuel stove and oven, bain-marie, automatic urn, toaster and dishwasher. There is a large BBQ near the kitchen.
