Why are women not allowed?

There are many opportunities for women to connect, network, engage, learn and grow but there is a need for men to have their own safe space to interact and build themselves. This is that safe space, especially as a new immigrant.

Can someone who has been in Canada for 10years be considered a New Immigrant?

Accepted Answer

In some countries, individuals may be considered new immigrants for a few years after they arrive, typically around 1 to 5 years. We usually would prioritize those who are months to 5 years in Canada.

Do you provide immigration resources or legal advise?

Accepted Answer

I'm sorry, we don't. The Major Pane Migrant Network is a social network created to provide support, resources, and a sense of belonging to new immigrants in our community. We are not legal advisors, attorneys, or a substitute for professional legal advice.

How often does this event take place?

At the moment, it is Bi-weekly. Subject to change in the future.

Would the group be meeting in-person at any point?

Accepted Answer

All meetings will be done virtually until the host decides if it will transition into in-person. The goal of having it online is to accommodate those who might be far away.

Is there a religious affiliation to this event?

Accepted Answer

The host is a Christian but the group is open to new immigrant men of all fates. Check out the rules to ensure that it aligns with your values.
