Unity

While Unity itself is known for quiet, rural living, there's a steady rhythm of events and things to do centered in the nearby towns of Claremont and Newport. The local scene is built around planned cultural outings, often anchored by performances at historic opera houses, rather than a bustling nightlife. Community traditions, from annual celebrations to weekly farmers' markets, create a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.

• An evening out often starts in downtown Claremont or Newport, where a performance at one of the historic opera houses can be paired with dinner.
• Live music is a fixture at pubs like Salt hill Pub in Newport, which hosts a weekly Open Mic Night.
• Community life centers on recurring gatherings, from the annual Unity Old Home Day in the summer to weekly farmers' markets and outdoor recreation at Arrowhead Recreation Area.
