Hanover

Tied to the Dartmouth College academic calendar, the rhythm for events and things to do in Hanover, NH shifts with the school year. The town's energy is centered on the walkable downtown and the Dartmouth Green, serving as the cultural heart of the Upper Valley region. This creates a unique atmosphere that blends lively student life with classic New England charm.

• Downtown's walkable core makes it easy to move between an author reading at Still North Books & Bar and a live music set at Sawtooth Kitchen.
• The Hopkins Center for the Arts at Dartmouth is a major cultural hub, presenting a diverse program of film, theater, and dance performances.
• Annual traditions bring the community together for large outdoor gatherings on the Dartmouth Green and organized events like the Turkey Trot road race.
