We believe that buying and getting tickets should be a fast and easy experience. As more and more people are using their phones to do this, we’ve strived towards delivering a seamless mobile experience to our customers.

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be rolling out support for Google Wallet over the next few days for our beloved Android customers in our newest version 3.8 of Eventbrite for mobile. You can also get Eventbrite notifications in Google Wear devices today.

Faster Checkout with Google Wallet

Customers who have stored a credit or debit card in their Google Wallet account can now use it to buy tickets to events they want to attend on Eventbrite.

During the checkout flow they can add Google Wallet as a payment method, log into their account (that’s only necessary the first time), and voilà—they can complete their order and successfully purchase their ticket. It’s a convenient way to checkout faster on Android devices.

Eventbrite Tickets on Google Wear

One of our most popular features of Eventbrite for mobile is being able to store and pull up tickets on your phone. Now customers will receive their Eventbrite tickets on their devices powered by Android Wear an hour before the event, so they can use it to get into an event.

Local notifications need to be enabled in the Eventbrite app to receive tickets on Android Wear. We’re excited to deliver these new features that are uniquely available to Android device owners to make their experience even better on Eventbrite. Stay tuned for more updates soon.
