What You Need to Know about the Development Industry in BC in 2016

We are pleased to welcome back David Porte for his second annual UDI Okanagan address as Chair of UDI Pacific Region. David will speak to the driving factors of the development industry in BC, market forecasts for 2016, and the Institute’s provincial policy priorities for the year ahead. He will also discuss some of the projects and initiatives of Porte Development Corp.

UDI Pacific continues to engage with key policymakers to enhance the credibility of the Institute amongst its stakeholders and offer solutions-oriented policies that benefit the development industry. UDI policy successes over the past year include improvements to the Real Estate Development Marketing Act and the Strata Property Act, streamlining the CAC process, and advocating for more transit infrastructure.
