Description

Exploring diversity and student expectations in Research Higher Degrees

Are you a Research Higher Degree (RHD) student in your first 18 months of candidature?

Are you willing to share your experiences of what your expectations were of doing a research thesis…and how the experience has been so far?

We are interested in hearing from students who have had diverse pathways to university or who have had challenges with their research candidature. We are holding focus groups to explore the expectations and experiences of those candidates. We would love to have you join our Focus Groups to chat about your experience. Please choose the group you identify with most:.

  • Session 1: Significant carer responsibilities (Friday 13th Nov 10.30am)

  • Session 2: Disability (Friday 13th Nov 10.30am)

  • Session 3: First in family to attend University (Tuesday 17th Nov 12.30 pm)

  • Session 4: English as a Second Language (Tuesday 17th Nov 12.30 pm)

All sessions will include lunch and refreshments
