Description

Please join us on Friday,. October 21, 2016 for a morning of collaborating and launches at our Transportation Summit being held in Northumberland County (invite only) where Community Care Northumberland will be showcasing our Specialized Transportation Program.

Invites to the summit include stakeholders, agencies and services in Northumberland County along with our MP, Kim Rudd and MPP, Lou Rinaldi. We will have visitors from Rural Ontario Institute (ROI), Ministry of Transportation (MTO) and Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF).

This event is an opportunity for Community Care Northumberland to share their transportation story as it has progressed over the years, and also will be sharing some of the results from the Rural Ontario Institute – Community Vitality research. We will also be having a group engaged conversation that will help us gather feedback on Community Vitality as it relates to the rural transportation in our community.

There is no cost to attending the event. However, we do need everyone attending to pre- register through the link provided. You will register through Eventbrite and it will allow you to print a ticket to hand in at the door.

We will be offering a “Free” continental breakfast from 8:30am-9:00am, and snacks throughout the morning, the event starts at 9:00am to noon.

Filming will also be happening throughout this event that will allow us to capture the day and use for future marketing of the service. Also, if you are interested in doing a mini interview, we will have a booth set up, before and after the event. We would love to hear your feedback and how it relates to our Transportation and Community Vitality.
