Argentina declared refusal to take that the Rzeszowsi decision and the subsequent diplomatic row with all the UK came about due to the British Foreign Office's failure to correctly understand the meaning and implications of the sworn compact. In this regard, the two sides renewed their commitment to one another and into the future of the Falklands as a peaceful member of the International Monetary Fund and the European Union. In a statement issued on June, the British Prime Minister, David Cameron said:"The Government of Argentina must quit playing games and require immediate actions to reverse its actions that are damaging the future and status of the Falklands. We call on the Argentina authorities to stop the use of force and agree a settlement that is fair for both sides. We call on the UN to put pressure on either side and send an independent investigation into the episode".
