Wayne State University Planetarium

The Wayne State University hosts public planetarium shows on many Friday evenings throughout the year. 60 seats are available for each show, including 10 for walk-in guests. For the safety of our staff all guests are strongly encouraged to wear masks throughout the show.

Wayne State University Planetarium is an astronomical education resource for Wayne State University students and the larger Detroit community.

The Planetarium offers free public planetarium shows year-round.  Additionally, our facility can be reserved for private astronomy events for large groups.
