The Improv School Unexpected Productions

How do they do that? Learn the basics of improvisation. Discover how to actively listen, to use your own life to create stories, and work on the fundamental principles of improvisation. The class will focus on team building and the concept that “If your teammate looks good, then you will look good.”

Emphasis will be placed on understanding and utilizing basic scene work skills and most importantly, having fun. Lots of laughs and lots of stage time. All students begin at this level. It’s a prerequisite to the other levels.

•             Pursue the art of Improvisational theater

•             Improve their public presentation skills

•             Gain amazing teaming skills

•             Overcome shyness

•             Build confidence

•             Improve communication skills

•             Think on their feet  

•             Come out of their shell

•             Have a safe place to take risks 

•             Or simply to have fun and make friends.

Students unlock the secrets of active listening and being present in the moment. They discover the power of collaborative storytelling and connecting with an audience. They add more spontaneity and playfulness to their life. All while having a fun time laughing and making new friends.

Our celebrated education program is the most established improv school in the region. We host classes in two locations in downtown Seattle and in Redmond. We offer 6 levels of classes with 4 quarters a year. We also offer specialty improv classes, sketch and stand-up comedy classes from renowned teachers from around the globe. Our classes are $225 and the next quarter starts in January.
