John McDevitt is a lifelong filmgoer who now works as a freelance film programmer. John grew up on Goosebumps, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Universal Classic Monsters, and Elvira: Mistress of the Dark. John appreciates horror for its willingness to explore what makes us uncomfortable and for the compassion it often extends to its characters and the viewer.
