Stolen Thread Productions CIC

Stolen Thread Productions is named in remembrance of the original spinning jenny, invented by Leigh born Thomas Hayes. The idea was stolen by Arkwright who famously patented the spinning jenny, but later was successfully challenged by Hayes – hence the "Stolen Thread"!

Stolen Thread is an established touring theatre/film/events production company based in the UK. The aim of their work is to provide high-class performance at subsidised rates that are accessible to the general public. They also offer delivery of workshops across the UK to help support and engage young people in the enrichment of the arts.
