SFbayACM
The SFbayACM is local to the San Francisco Bay area, and is a professional chapter of the ACM or Association of Computing Machinery - the professional society of Computer Science. Our chapter was incorporated in 1957, holding educational talks and events as a non-profit, 501c(3). We have about 20+ events per year, with 2 evening talks most months except for December. We are run by unpaid volunteers. We have a Meetup group with 13,000+ members, and a YouTube channel with 260+ of our more recent talks, https://www.youtube.com/user/sfbayacm
Greg Makowski has been inviting Data Science and AI speakers for SFbayACM since 2008, as one of the many volunteers. He is the Chief of Data Science at Ccube. https://www.linkedin.com/in/gregmakowski/ https://www.ccube.com/genai
